$10 via paypal for fixing my dns template

I believe it's something very trivial but I cannot figure it out. So what's the problem? Go to http://seowebtips.com and check what is displayed in your browser's url input field. Instead of url, there's my ip showing up. I need my url displayed there, not the ip. Anybody knows how to fix that?

Here are my dns settings for seowebtips in lxadmin:
    http://seowebtips.com/images/pic.gif

And here are my nameservers' settings at godaddy:
    ns1: http://seowebtips.com/images/ns1.gif
    ns2: http://seowebtips.com/images/ns2.gif

If anybody can solve this for me, I will send him $10 via paypal.

The site is hosted on my VPS (at http://tagbridge.net).

    OK,

    Here it goes:
    First of all,
Is this a shared hosting? Cause if so, you should use the hosting company's name servers. That is
ns1.seowebtips.com and ns2.seowebtips.com are strange assignments if you're on a shared hosting plan.
Those should be something like ns1.godaddy.com etc. (I checked whois record, registrar is godaddy)

And second, the screen telling that "Set host and IPs" is not probably about nameservers. I think that interface is used to add hosts (like www etc) to your domain.

So, I can't exactly tell how this is happening, but the solution is probably to change your name servers to the registrar's name servers (search the help on their site).

And after that, if you want to add host, you can do so by using that interface. That is you can create child/sub domains like

    www.seowebtips.com
    or
    ftp.seowebtips.com

    I hope that helps

Hi. Thanks for quick reply but I'm afraid that's not a problem because the site is hosted on my VPS (at http://tagbridge.net/) - so I got my own nameservers (ns1.seowebtips.com and ns2.seowebtips.com - I've registered them at godaddy and waited more than 48 hours so they are already propagated).

Oh and that screen - I've just clicked on "edit nameservers" and taken the screenshot.

its no problem here, I could see you web page here. i do not found Any problem. May be you could try to look your site using proxy like kproxy.com or youhide.com

May be the URl not shown because the domain not completely propagate with your hosting, need wait for 24 hours or more.

You misunderstood. I have no problem seeing my site. It is working alright.

The problem I have is that in the browser's adress input field is my ip instead of the url. I'm accessing my website by typing "seowebtips.com", then I hit enter and it goes directly to my ip adress

Ok guys I've also asked at other forums and from the replies I'm getting it seems that the problem is with my lightspeed webserver...

I've uploaded my lightspeed config file in the attachment (the only thing I've changed is the last line - for seo friendly urls).

    Hi,

You may need to post these 2 config file also -

    include "local.lighttpd.conf"

    include "conf/lxadmin/lxadmin.conf"

Unrelated ... looking at the source code for your home page it's got the IP address everywhere? Is that being generated by something or is that hard coded into your pages?

    Matt

I'm trying something new now (rebuilding the VPS completely)... I'll see if the problem will still be there once I'm done...

Finally :D I've rebuilt the VPS and conigured dns template manually again and it works...

By the way, big thanks to st1905 - he figured out what was the problem (when I was playing with the settings in lxadmin I have assigned my ip exclusively to only one user - admin - so it was always redirecting to admin's ip) ;)

    Check it: http://seowebtips.com
