Why Did You Get Banned From Adsense?

I'm fairly certain that not too many people go running out into the street heedlessly, at least in part because we all at some point were told or saw a picture of what being hit by a car can do to a person and we don't have fond dreams of eating our meals through a straw...

With that same logic in mind I'd like it if those who have been banned by Adsense can chime in with what they were doing that caused it. This will help those of us who have never been banned avoid going down the same road and making the same mistakes.

Even if you have not been banned, please chime in if you have a friend or a loved one who has been, and why.

No hearsay, mind you. We don't need rumors and speculation. Just first or second-hand accounts of what you or your associate were doing outside of the Adsense TOS at the time that you got banned.

    Thanks for your input.

I was banned without explanation, but I know it was because of site programming.

    Peace,

One of my highest earning proxies banned. I was getting around $10 a day for around a month. All that down the drain and no response from support as to what I did wrong :(

I placed ads on my hacking site, I dint leave the fake gmail login page also. They blocked me for this reason. They also saved the pages on which i was violating their terms and misusing their trademarks and gave a link to these saved pages.

Now i got a new site, and its doing good

I was banned by Adsense before, maybe I earned too much from it, and thus pose a threat to its advertisers.

    3 words:

    Proxies
    MFA Sites
    Spam

That'll do it. Being in the proxy business, I know several people who have had issues with adsense banning proxies. No surprise there, a lot of the new proxy sites I see, the webmaster doesn't even bother to change the lorem ipsum (sp?) as the default template text. They proceed to pay for proxy advertising and put adsense on the sites. Morons.

An alleged google quote seems to apply here (regarding proxies):

"Publishers are permitted to place Google ads on the homepages of anonymous proxy sites, but not in the frames around pages viewed through the proxy. The concern is that the publisher is unable to control the content of pages framed by his ads."

That quote was found here: http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/013542.html

Can you (Iprox) confirm whether or not you had your adsense on the proxy frame, or only on the homepage?

    Thanks.

No, but that will definately do it. Most other proxy owners just had "bad traffic" or traffic that Google deemed unacceptable. They never really said. I have not been banned by the way.
