When I first created my adsense site in November - nothing. I wrote a bunch of articles on ezinearticles and associatedcontent.com and a few other sites, all pointing at the site, over the course of three months...and now I haven't touched it since the end of February and I make an average of $5-$16 a day. But it was very frustrating for the first few months when I had plenty of days where I made NOTHING and plenty of days where I made .$55. For the first few months I was like "Adsense sucks, I'm horrible at this!" Now I'd like to be able to replicate that success a few dozen times over - it's all passive income! I love passive income! I also just tested out a new site on cosmetic surgery and wrote maybe eight articles pointing towards it - and it is doing HORRIBLY. I made $3 in a month. I think I'm going to ditch it and move on to the trendy sites like debt consolidation and the like.
I've made just over $480,000 this month. I'm hoping to reach $28,000,000 by the end of the year. Here's my proof of earnings for those skeptical people around here:

Clearly we all need to study Ian Batten's methods and learn from him...at least to emulate his fantastic artistic skills if nothing else! If you guys are looking for more traffic, seriously, try writing articles. That is the one thing that's helped me enormously. But also if you have had a site up for months, and it gets a lot of traffic but very poor clickthrough rate...something's wrong there. Not every site works out - so you might want to consider either revamping the site or moving on to another niche. What worked for me is having a lot of very good (I wrote them myself), targeted, short articles on my site - all original content, all dealing with a specific subject that I know a lot of people are interested in.
That's good advice scarlettletters, something that's quite hard to find on this forum these days. Depending on what website you have, articles is a good way to go. I concentrated on building backlinks, and writing thick content just for my site, rather than distributing it with articles. With sell SEO'd pages, the two work well together so I rank high in search engines. It always helps to write about something you have an interest in as well, and if it's a niche, even better
I was making 300 $ daily last year... This year I am not doing good... Those days my average is 30 - 50 $ daily...
