I know there are a TON of people throwing fits at microsoft about IE, or vista (rightfully so)

But I absolutely love what Microsoft has done with its office series of software (word, excel, publisher, power point etc. ) . I love the look and feel of thier new layout, it makes me wanna type more!

Microsoft OS and their Office Suite are their bread and butter, if they can't do this well, they will be gone case :) . These are areas they dominant totally.

    Why does everyone hate Microsoft?
    I love it.
I love IE8, it beats the hell out of Firefox.
I love Vista, it beats Leopard like hell.
I love Office, it is way better than iLife.
I don't own an iPod, and I hate them, niether do I own a Zune, but I fell Zunes are far advanced compared to iPods.
Microsoft can do a lot of things right, but 90% of the users crib about it and thus look only at the negative points and not the good stuff.

I love Microsoft and I admire Bill Gates :)

But I hate IE 8 sorry about that. I uses Open Office instead of Microsoft Office because it is free and works as well.

OpenOffice is, in my opinion, not as good as Microsoft office. That's probably why most offices work with it...

Microsoft Office works well, nothing wrong with my PC, just that I install Open Office because I find that it works as well and will not burn a hole in your pocket. Nothing to do with my PC, maybe the lining of my pocket is at fault, it is not fire proof :)

Yeah, office took a bit of getting used to! But it is way better than the previous versions. The main designer that was behind the UI is the one tasked with redesigning the next version of windows LOL. Could take me a while to get my head around the next version of windows then ;)

Previously my only complaint about Open Office was that there was no word count, now it seemed everything is there. The interface is very similar. I guess users do not use Open Office due to fear of the unknown, once they use it, they will find that it ain't really much different from MS Office.

Of course Microsoft had to hold those more user-friendly features and make them better and better, that's their market.

Open Office is more and more like Windows in GUI and more powerful than Windows it can use the open protocol and also export PDF.

I tried OO several times but I didn't like it...it wasn't so comfortable as MS Office is. Also, the interface is incomparable, at least in version 2007
