That's a good question... he doesn't seem to be interested in this anymore :s He visited this forum 2 days ago, since then i haven't seen him online...
People can be busy.. you know? We feel the entries aren't good enough for what we are looking for - none look corporate enough, and dont really resemble what we are looking for. And so, we are now going to go to a design firm locally so we can see, and speak to them.
that was foreseen already *the bottom line is designers, never enter a context that is offering you an amount bigger than 100$, as the expectations of the clients are way bigger* no offense to Marc Fraser, but I see many people just wasted their time here with their template designs. so just wanted to inform them for their better. Good luck Marc with your product and website PS: seeing many of the templates, and your comments about PROFESSIONAL templates, I think I have to re check what professional look means......as many of the desings were sober enough to be professinals Regards CB
Marc, if you were going to award $1000 for a project, you should probably look into holding a contest at 99designs, Not that DP is bad at designing at all, 99designs just attracts more professional designers.
Fair enough, it's a lot of money to pay out if you aren't happy with the designs. Good luck finding a design company, i'd be interested to see what they come up with.
would love to see design submitted from here. I'm planning to put up a design a logo and change the template of my website contest as well. Since I'm a newbie. I don't have any permissions yet.
