my site is an seo company.. and i target the search term "Professional SEO Company".. when i search it to Google yesterday morning it was on number 11.. and when i check it again in the afternoon.. i was surprised.. because it ranks number 2.. when i check it after an hour.. it was on number 10 position.. Do you experience this kind of thing? is this normal? please send replies.. but i know this is part of Google dance.. but at least I'm glad it ranks number two.. by the way my site is seobrandmedia.. please review it if you have time..
It can happen, at least happened to me before. Wait for few days, it will settle somewhere between 2 and 11
is that a Google Dance? but why does my other keywords remain on their same position? Now, I'm on no.10!
I'm just asking if others have any experience same with me.. there's no funny thing about it.. I'm just asking and want to share my experience..
That's not true, I've experienced it before one of my keyword rank #1 for almost an hour from it's original position #8 the following days it's still on #8.
Some of my keywords have been shifting positions from #2 to 12 for 3 months almost every day And i've been noticing the same thing for my competitors, ranging #2-20 for a long period of time...
One very important "one word keyword" started appearing on #5 spot two days ago, now its in the 30th. There is also one thing, datacenters, they may show different positions for years. Also Geo factors, for example google.fr and google.de show different results or even one may not rank your site at all!!!! And NYstul made an interesting comment, i was wondering myself If you are in SEO for some time, you get experience and you would surely know these things if you run "Professional SEO Company" website.. Just a thought
Sometimes, this has something to do with the different DC's.. When you've been redirect to others, the result may vary once you hit the search.. This is just but normal though..
Maybe your competitors are optimizing heavily for that phrase right now and Google needs time to rank properly every one.
I have heard that if you own an SEO website and you ask questions like this in a public forum Google will penalize you and send you the sandbox. Yup, I'm pretty sure that's true. I would delete this thread ASAP if I were you.
Well James, It normal, I have also found this kind of things, in serp rankings. No need to worry, may be google created shift for rankings in natural listings. lol...
