googlebot not indexing new posts

First of all, I see many people have the same problem I have, but I am gonna post anyway my case.

I have a soccer site and for months and months I got some nice google traffic after certain soccer games are finished. I mean, I was indexed in maximum five minutes and I was on the SERPS. This Sunday I worked a lot to keep users posted with the last highlights but I did not received any significant traffic from Google (though it was nice to see so many returning visitors :D). There is no black/white hat SEO, no tricks, nothing. It is just good content delivered for every search.

The site is a PR3 and always had that kind of google-after-match traffic ;) The site is also in the top10 for a good keyword (and I get traffic from there). The site is not banned from Google and there is absolutely no reason to be banned.

For example, after seeing zero google traffic activity on Sunday, I built my sitemap and send it to google. Today I checked and the new (sunday) posts are still missing though I receive some traffic on the mainpage for the keywords that are found in the last posts (I hope you all understand what I mean here).

The only plugins I installed (Saturday) were WP-Paginate and Wp-Super-Cache (which was enabled when googlebot was supposed to crawl my site). Do you know any problems related to those two plugins and bots?

    I suggest you wait.

    Indexing can take some time.

Perhaps Google is delayed for the moment. Don't stress just be patient.

Do you enable those plug ins for the first time? Maybe you could double check your settings. Try to investigate what might something wrong.

Sound like something is wrong in the settings. You can also do some new link building to give your site a boost.

I am a new webmaster and am not sure how long it takes for Googlebot to renew the cache of my newly-created site. I am sure that it is unpredictable to a large degree, but can someone tell me...are we talking about days? weeks? or maybe even months?

The plugins were disabled in the same day after I realized the unusual activity.
