In the world of business, this is difficult to say, Yahoo board will be facing a lot of challenges. There is no guarantee that there wouldn't be a revolt. Once that happen Microsoft take over will stand a good chance. They may even pick up Yahoo at a cheaper price.

MS doesn't know how to develop internet market, Yahoo doesnt know how to use ready-made web resources,
It's a good news if MS take over Yahoo.

I think they are anticipating some board actions in their board meeting just one or two months from now. Those speculating some actions may buy in in anticipation of changes in Yahoo board and the revival of a merger talk with Microsoft.

I'm quite confident that Microsoft will buy it. Usually when MS sets its eyes on a company, it never leaves it without buying it.
Besides, the Yahoo CEO is under enormous pressure from the investors and the board.

The Yahoo CEO has some twisted ideas about the value of the company... Microsoft will eventually come back, but offering less than they offered before and then the CEO will have to take it. I wonder how long it will take for the Yahoo CEO to be sacked????

It is psychological that everyone value their possessions more than the actual values. For normal situation, they should consult with a 3rd party, which they did but they do not accept the valuation.

Microsoft taking over yahoo is good for publishers since it gives a good alternate to good adsense.

Actually I read yesterday that a big investor has bought like 3% of Yahoo's shares and is trying again to fire up the deal between Yahoo and Microsoft.
And there is still the possibility that M$ will takeover Yahoo

I think it is just a matter of time B4 MS strikes again, but when Yahoo shares has gone down significantly, thereby they can buy Yahoo at a cheaper price then. I think it should happen B4 the year is over.

If I remembered correctly Microsoft did offer a price of $40 before that, next time round it might be $20, who knows.....just that the amount seemed lesser each new attempt.

The problem is even if he succeed, Microsoft may play hard to get and Yahoo not not get what was originally offered
