Site History
The site is almost 1 year old (June 2007). Yahoo siteexplorer shows it with nearly 6000 backlinks. It was formerly a pc/warez site with a LOT more posts. I can't remember exactly how many more because I deleted a lot of sections but I do remember when I deleted the largest part of the warez section it was over 20,000 posts alone. So that's part of why the posts to member ratio is all screwed up. It also sat idle for quite some time so spam bots infested it as well. I removed a lot of those posts too.

Key values of The Site
Great brandable domain with logo.
Nice paid skin.
All the work done (already upgraded to vB 3.7 with compatible skin).
A HUGE member database with emails to send a mass "Welcome Back!" email to.
36K posts to build off of. Not an empty forum.

The site will be a much better value to the new owner if I sell it as a whole so the DB is not for sale alone.

Revenue and stats please?

 

The site has no ads on it so no revenue.

The stats are less than 100 uniques per day so not even worth a screenshot. You can consider it none if you wish. There is however over 50 u/v a day.

 

hmmm, how many of the members are actually human and why do they have a post count of only 1?

 

I don't know. Like I said the site sat dormant for a while and got infested with spam bots. But I deleted and or banned a lot of those accounts.

Look at it like this. The site has over 40k members. If only as low as 1k of those are actual live users that's still 1k addresses to send to, to relaunch the forum.

 

Database has been sold on DP about 500 times...

 

Please by all means link to a post, thread or anything proving that.

That is, if the DB hasn't been sold before, but knowing GeorgeB, I highly doubt it has it has or he would try to run something like that

Sure. There are no bids now so if it doesn't sell I planned on reposting it in a day or so anyway.

I've been doing my own due diligence to make sure and I'm positive the DB hasn't been resold here on DP or anywhere else. That's why I was pretty confident asking the person who made that claim to feel free to post links proving otherwise.

In any case I'll contact you if it doesn't sell just to see if your boss was interested or not.

Thanks George, I sent a email off to my boss this morning and he already replied saying that he just added 20 forums to the network, so he's going to pass for now
If it goes up again at a later date, pls pm me and let me know. I might just purchase it for myself

 

I am interested in merging it with my forum since your asking price is quite low.

However, why is the number of threads and posts so close together, it makes it seem like almost all the threads have no replies?

 

If I bought it, I would also be merging it.. can you run and update or are the stats in the who's online correct.
