What do you think of having 1000 blog backlinks in one day ? will not google ban your site from doing this ?
In theory, it probably could happen naturally but I see no reason for someone going out and getting that many links in one day.
I think it all depends on the age of your site if you have a new site and you add 1000 links at once then you may be penalized by google. However, if the site is a bit older I do not think it would be a problem. I will use youtube.com as an example, this site was launched in 2005 currently it has 118,201,404 links according to yahoo site explorer. There is no way they could have built that many links in 3 years without adding thousands of links on a daily basis, do the math. If google were punishing all sites that built 1000 links in one day youtube would have been banned a long time ago.
The same rules apply to all websites, youtube does not get special treatment if they violate google's rules they would have been banned a long time ago.
I would think that however many links you could build manually within a day would be the must you would want to add.
ther are different techniques like directory submissions, blog commenting and many other link buying methods or site wid links from big websites.
I could buy and create over 1000 links during the course of a day, but they never show up all at once...it would be months before half of the directory submissions alone would even be processed, let alone show as valid backlinks. So my question still stands...how can you get 1000 backlinks in one day...where it shows 0 today, and you run a backlink check tomorrow and it's over 1000. I don't think it's possible for most sites.
Not special treatment, i meant that youtube its world known so the possibilities of getting 1000 backlinks in two days are quite high compared to my site for example.
It really depends on where the links are coming from. If they are all coming from a single source, then it will raise a red flag with the serps. However, if the links are seen as coming from different sources, ie on different ips, so on, then it would be seen as natural. For huge sites like YouTube and the Web 2.0 sites, they are mentioned, ie linked from all over the web so the links are natural. Another thing that will raise a red flag is the anchor text. Automated software often leave footprints behind such as similar anchor text. The key is to have natural linking. But if your site is unknown and all of a sudden get too many spammy looking backlinks, you can be sure you are the next candidate for axing by Google. That said, if your site contains great content and is digged, social bookmarked, and as a result get tons of backlinks, that is not too much of a worry to you.
Funny... I also want as i am link lover, still i will accept the tactics if it is White Hat, Let us know how you can 1 K links in a day.
Hi there, I would like to comment on the posts here. 1. I have no idea how could anyone process 1000 links per day unless you hired at least 10 people to do backlinks, 100 links on each of them for one day. If it really happens for a single person to do 1000 backlinks for a day, please tell me how to do that. 2. Youtube is owned by google, we should not compare youtube to any other sites.
1: Go to the Link Sales forum and pick up for example, this post http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=780567
Remember that even if back links appear on 1000 sites same day, the bots would not visit them at the same time, so it is going to take a while for the site to be crawled and link would be registered on the date bot crawls (and not when it was added) ... Rest assured if the links come from different sites, different ips' no reason for a ban at all !! Thx
Ah ok, thanks for the info pubdomainshost.com , yes if there are diferrent IPs visiting one site thru backlinks, google wont penalize the site....And it takes a month, as usual for google to update links and PRs
