When you guys say article writing.. like what are you guys doing?

 

we post article to article directory

 

social bookmarking, forum posting and SEO.
really need to get into the article marketing as well but I only started my blog recently so im trying to get 3 posts up on it per week consistently.
when I know im doing that comfortably il slowly start rewriting older posts and syndicating them.

Buy ad's / campaigns, social tagging and Youtube traffic.

Traffic is only a small piece of the puzzle - monetizing the traffic is the key.

Well you want to earn as much as possible, this means optimization, experimenting with different ad' types and suppliers, getting the positions on your site right for optimum clicks, then you also want to find ad's etc. that are relevant to your traffic and site theme.

 

I'm suprized no one's mentioned link baiting.
It's about 50 times harder to create a unique, original link bait, but the results would be 50 times more effective than other forms of link building if done right. You're also getting lots of quality PR.

 

always use a combination of several methods and if you can use a combination of paid and free traffic. free traffic (especialy search engine traffic) can be very fickle and unpredictable... you never know when the search engines are going to change their algo's and your whole business with it...

I try and do a combo of paid and free methods of attracting traffic...

adword is good but its costly.
