i target Google, because it is the most used. if you rank well in google you will also rank well in the others.
That is entirely false. I have sites with a few page 1 results on google that don't rank in the top 100 on MSN and others. The reality is that Google is the most important one right now because it will send you the most traffic. I have sites where Google traffic is often 15, 20 or even 30 times what all the others send together.
I think it's easier to rank in Google. That engine tends to focus more on quality back links and the theme of each website. As a result, it's easier to tailor site to that engine. Yahoo and MSN seem to rely almost exclusively on the raw number of links. That makes it hard to compete with other players who are buying links all over the place.
My site ranks well in Google. I try to get high ranks in Google because that usually means I'll most likely get high rankings in others easily.
my sites also rank well in google and they are always st first page from last one year and they also ranked well in yahoo and msn
you just follow the market, in our industry, 80% of the traffic is generated by Google, thus 80% of my time is spent in optimizing for Google. IMHO, its not about which search engine is the easiest to rank in, rather, its about which search engine your target market is using
Well, It all depends on your hard work because there's nothing impossible to target! I'm targeting Google because in India it is mostly used. Yahoo and Msn are also good one's but it all depend on the your project if it is U.S based then i would prefer you to target Yahoo...
i will prefer google.com and google.co.uk good visitors traffics than you can get easily customers from your Business website. if you get good rankigs in MSN but no quality visitors than its not worth for our sites. Thanks John
I rank fair enough in major SE's like yahoo, msn and google. but still I am focusing more in Google for it is most used.
