Best out of PR7? Bidding Directory or General Directory

    Hi,
I never used Bidding Directories so my question goes should i give a Bidding Directory a chance on a PR7 or Run a general web directory?

i have the experience with general web directories (PR4,PR5,PR6) but never PR7.

now i have PR7 and would like to decide where to go?!

Bidding directory owners appreciate your feedback.

Maybe it's just a PR7 domain, and you are not sure whether to run it as a bidding or general directory?

Its clearly not a PR7 directory. He is just trying to cash in on a PR7 domain and make some fast bucks.

This is part of the problem with web directories, find a domain with PR and bang a directory on it to sell links.

We are seeing some great domain names for a general web directory, word clouds, or bidding directories:rolleyes:. I’m not against people using an existing domain but I do sometimes wonder how many customers are fooled into paying $$$ for having a listing on a high PR dropped domain directory only to find the directory penalized or a massive dropped in PR.

If you intent using or converting to a directory be realistic about prices and invest a large proportion of income to try and maintain the PR. (This will be very hard to do)

    Thanks Brian

I agree with you in some parts, i have the experience building solid directories either from scratch or from existing PR's, to be frank i have 90% success ratio keeping up the existing pagerank, i know how to build solid backlinks and populate good traffic out of it. so why not using a ready domain with good PR to establish (start point) your next to come directory!

It maybe a quick buck way agreed totally! No one who grabs a PR7/PR6 dropped domain is gonna leave it. People run to cash fast bucks on it. ... I hate the same. That's the reason I advised the op to get on Link Building for it too, so the PR remains. :)
