name.com $5.99 / domainsite.com but there is no cheap registrar for all TLDs
You should focus to a specific TLD at a time

I would advise you to find hosting which provides free domains if you stay with them

Try to contact with them. Registered many times from 1and1.com and generally my domain was ready within 2-3 hours.

1and1 is the worst registrar in the world. Good luck on pushing the domain if you sell it. It has to be done the old skool way....

The support is horrible and there are several threads here about it as well. They actually decided to bill me for a VPS server which I never ordered. The next regfly....

Yes 1&1 have got a lot of annoyed customers it seems from reading threads on several forums. It seems they have made it difficult for their customers to manage the domains once they get them to sign up. I have witnessed this myself recently when I picked up a dozen .99c info's. I had to manually change each domain one at a time to set the name servers and that is just not acceptable at all. I have herd of problems for customers to transfer out and this is also not acceptable. This is the same sort of tactics that Registerfly would use to manipulate customers.

A good reliable register I use is Mydomain.com & you can get 15% off domains & hosting there with coupon code "bargaincat.com". Name.com also seem ok and Godaddy have pretty good prices when you use a coupon. I would suggest you start with 2 or 3 domains first and not 20.
