earthquake killed nearly 10,000 people in Sichuan province in CHINA
-- Beijing - May 13 - at 14:28 on May 12, Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province (31 degrees north latitude, 103.4 degrees east longitude) in 7.8 earthquake. After the earthquake, the CPC Central Committee General Secretary Hu Jintao gave important instructions immediately, as soon as possible rescue of the wounded to ensure that permits people's lives and safety of disaster areas. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has to earthquake-stricken area in Sichuan, the site to direct earthquake relief work.

According to China Seismological Bureau report, the four Chuan Wenchuan in an earthquake, Ningxia, Qinghai, Gansu, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong, Yunnan, Hunan, Hubei, Shanghai, Chongqing, Beijing and other places was felt.

Hope they recover from this losses soon. Really feel bad for them.

 

Just heard about this on the news... Hope this the worst case scenario and the number of deaths aren't more than reported.

 

I wonder if there's a way as a DP we could all promote a charity that raises funds for it or something? It could be cool to rally together.

 

Google was collecting funds for natural disaster victims of Mayanmar or not sure of place but i saw something like this on there search engine page...

i thinks most of the country around the world have what we call the channel to help China. Let donate anything we could and pray God to save them.

The earth quake was terrible.I will pray for the victims of the earthquake so that they recover soon and we should all help them by making contributions as far as we can.

 

My dad left Chine about 20 mins before it happened...

 

Is really horrible and sad. First Myanmar with the cyclone and now an earthquake in China...

Is there any place that are doing any charity or donations? I would like make a donation... Is the best that I could do for them for now.

When nature strikes, we realized how small and helpless we are.

 

The newest death toll has risen to 14,866 people. Is really horrible. I think make a donation is the best that i could do for them for now.
