I had one good .FM domain registered through godaddy. It was one month before its renewal date. I paid for renewal fee to godaddy, but it was not actually renewed, and although i was refunded that amount. But now the domain is said to be premium and can only be registered at .fm official registry. with a TAG "premium names" pricing $ 200.. Yes i applied to renewal approx a month before expiry date. any comments ?
Godaddy has been known to hijack domains that don't have the right contact and billing info (name, address, phone number, etc), are you sure all of that stuff was filled out?
The information was filled in correctly and everything was in line. They first confirmed that it had been renewed, and after the expiry date, they mailed that it could not be renewed and they were sorry for that. Then when we raised a support issue, they replied that the best we can do is to issue a refund which they eventually did. But the domain is gone now.. How can i get it back
Yep i hate godaddy just use them to handled pushed domains, i wait the 60days and pull them over to a more reliable registrar. Who has the domain now... what is the domain name... If it can be proved that you renewed your domain and made payment but never gave you the domain take it up with the authorties.
