Explain this, my site has content written by a specialist of 26 years in Pulmonology and is hardly considered "crap content". This same content was earning 10x per click than what it is now. It's not a case of good or bad content, the market is flooded and there's far more ad slots then publishers for the niche so advertisers can bid less and still have their ad displayed. So what are "these ways" of earning more then advertisers are paying?
Adsense is made up of advertisers. I believe the advertisers have wisened up. They are not that foolish like before to allow their ads to be displayed on low converting sites. Especially when they are paying so much for it. And Google definitely is monitoring this. They are just not telling you. Why should they? One of the answers is already there in the thread. Someone already said this. But, I agree with you that too many publishers have lowered the overall value of Adsense.
Concentrate more on traffic. Traffic = $$$ Any keyword or Niche can earn a lot of money if you get traffic.
Yeah go with loans, pay cash advance, credit cards, insurance etc. All obvious really. The Mesothelioma one is dying a death if you'll excuse the pun because all the old timers are dying off so there are less cases arising
The key is in this thread. Think local, and you'll find the money. As the first poster asked regarding travel instead- I worked very hard in that niche and got nowhere. If you aren't the Big 3, you'll need lots of luck there. Travel is watered down as much as any niche you can find, and continues to get bigger. Then there is the fact it goes as the economy goes. Look at the gas prices- who's traveling??
This is so predictable. Do you think advertisers are stupid to pay dollars for MFA sites that just don't convert?
lol i'm sure I did a blog on this a long long time ago !! one of my first blogs it was so random and scammy..death to mesothlioma!!!!!!
No pun intended. What's amusing/sad is people all over the world are dieing a horrible death from this condition and we are pissed it's now paying 30c a click instead of $3
i guess the market is saturated then. the new keyword hype has gotten the monkeys all excited up and flooded the market. if you are having those stats, it probably is content thats wrong. check your site and keep them maintained if you still want to ride on the bandwagon. i prefer kw's that are relevant to my liking, I build sites and then look for the related kw and build content on them. I dont just jump out of the water and make a site out of my hat. anyway, keep up with good content and pr and you will likely get more traffic.
