Don't believe what you read *or hear* just try them and see if they are really scammers. Try my signature affiliate network they have a lot of Exclusive offers.

No not really you just have a bunch of people who don't want to reveal how they make money and are suggesting which programs to run.

I use a few different programs and will be glad to help you if youre interested send me a P.M.

it's frustrating....but you just have to keep trying out different programs but stick with those who generally get good reps. Forums like DP are great to keep informed.

Just try out a network using natural traffic. This way you don't risk throwing away our money to drive traffic (via PPC, etc). Hit the minimum payout and see if you get your money. Once you do, then you can start using PPC and stuff to drive traffic to your site.

I agree, their are so many good affiliate networks, you'll really only run into trouble with the odd few not paying

It's as simple as this really, if they don't pay you, you won't make them and yourself money with that network the following month.

So I'd say 90% will pay no prob.

    It's common business law 101

to rip you off, they make less money the following month. smart people won't do that

First, I'm fairly sure you aren't allowed to simply post "see my signature" as this isn't a free advertising forum. Rather, Digital Point is a place for sharing affilaite insight, tips and creating dialogue about the top networks in the industry.

More importantly though, I recomend CommissionJunction.com - It's the top affiliate network online. I started with them a few months ago with no affiliate marketing knowledge and made over $1,000 in my niche last month. There's no referral program so they aren't promoted as frequently however, my advice is also genuine for that reason - there's no profit motive or signature line behind my recomendations - only my experience.

    Best & Take Care!

Click my signatures and then sign up. They are serious about the payment and have many payment options and promotion tools.

    Good luck!

I've tried a few in the past which are legit. Check them out:

SFI (used to be Six Figure Income, now Strong Future International)
    Success University
    Financial Freedom Society

And the one that I'm running now is the one in my sig. That's also legit.

To all of you who are recommending CJ,I have a few questions.

-How long did it take you to earn any income from CJ?
-Did CJ's online publisher strategies work and help you to earn income more quickly/effectively?

I would recommend you ClickBank. It is one of the best established affiliate programs on the internet.
I can't say for other affiliate programs because i am generally using only Clickbank and their products. I have got payments from them regularly in the past 6 months. It took me around month and a half from the start to get my first check.

They pay promptly and they keep good stats about your affiliate links clicks hops and sales. Plus Clickbank has a good marketplace where you can check the weekly performance of each affiliate product and decide on your own which one could be good and which one not that good.

Basicly all my experience and money that i have earned was through Clickbank.
I would recommend you to try it out first. I can give you some pointers of you are interested. PM me.

I can suggest MoreNiche as they have great training for newbies - 10's of guides and how to videos and pays 20-50% in commissions. So even couple sales will give you payout ;)

    Hey Heretolearn,

It really is best to try out several different networks before committing all your resources to just one. Remember, "don't put all of your eggs in the one basket" at first. Run a little bit of traffic with each network and try to see what works best with your content. In the end, pick the network that you feel most comfortable with :)

    Hope this helps!
