Do some blog writing with indian real estate. Like "how to buy real estate for NRI's", "How to get low interest mortgage loan for your property". "What you have to check before you purchase a home or land". I am sure, this will help peoples, so they will be a regular visitor. Also your site can be top in the search engine for your main keywords with blog writing. Nice design, well arranged and optimized.
you can also sponsor links on WP themes, which is by far the best and safest and highly result oriented way of building links
There are a lot of sites that is related to yours in a directory. Go to your niche and I'm sure there are lot of real estate sites listed there that you can exchange with.
Thanks for your suggestion but there are not any quality websites of our niche and if there are some then they are big players and they would never agree to exchange links.
If you've got a decent directory which doesn't run a standard directory template you could submit it to www.immoveableindex.com if you were willing to provide a similar backlink.
