i have a merchant account at paypal, but still i have a $3000 a month transaction limit. is there anyway to break it? How can i get rid of this limit? Thanks in advance.
I am sure he must be verified if he has for $3000 limit and as deluxdon said, its better if you contact Paypal, only they can help you out.
Verifying should help if you have not done so already... however, as a side note... Why does PayPal have these "limits?" Is it to hold our money longer and doesn't this detract from their business? Best & Take Care!
If he has a merchant account, he already has a higher limit that a personal one. Sounds like he is NOT verified. I have a business merchant, and I know I do not have any limits. I've run through $5,000, $8,000, $15,000 in the past year in a single transaction. Call paypal. They may require some docs. No toots. It's not to hold your money. It's fraud prevention. If you deal with epass, 2checkout, and some other processors and start doing bigger dollar transactions you will run into this. Normally it's resolved by showing you are a business, and sending docs verifying it... bank account, LLC, DBA, etc.
