    Just looking for some constructive criticism and suggestions for my anime forums.

    this I understand a bit less, since it's a forum I can't go spamming pictures all over it right? Atm there are just as many pictures on the forum as there are on digitalpoint.

    They mean that they don't like the theme, icons, and banners on the forum. You're really not going to get many intelligent or detailed answers here.

    First you should go ahead and fill up all those empty threads with content! Try to group your friends and friend of friends and help filling up the site. After that you can go and get links and advertise your forum to websites with similar or topical relevance. Usually anime sites help each other out so I think you won't have that much trouble looking for backward links. :)
