I don't think that him with his anti-american family which is true they live in Kenya stands a chance. Why not just give Osama Bin Laden rains to our country...same thing.

Actually what is Obama's voting record? Did he vote against the war?

Yes, I think he will end the war. I think the war funding votes aren't really an indicator of what he will do as President as it's a different situation. When you are in a position of having to vote for the war funding or not it's a position where they'll say you are not "supporting the troops" if you do not fund it.

This is a completely unacceptable thing to say. Please get an education.

Did you really just cite Yahoo Answers as a reference?

Please tell me you are just trolling? I understand when there are people this ignorant who live in the boonies of West Virginia or whatever, but you are online at a webmaster's forum. I mean... How can you possibly be this ignorant? I just don't even see how it's possible. You HAVE to be a troll.

If "elitist" means being intelligent and actually knowing a few things about what's going on in the world then yes, I am an elitist and so is Barack Obama. Stupidity & ignorance are no longer "in." We've seen what stupidity & ignorance brings us with the Bush admin. It's time to move on. Either get an education or get left behind. You are on the wrong side of history.

No it elitist means thinking you are more important then everyone else, which is what many political figures have said Obama is.

No. That's not what it means. And as far as "many political figures" saying that about Obama, what I think you mean is many GOP/Clinton spinsters. It's BS. Anything to get away from talking about the real issues.

What ever you got to say, I remember a very offense comment against white people inside his campaign. I forget what it is, I know I will look it up and write an article about it in my political blog.

Good luck with that. Considering that Obama's campaign is ran by mostly white people (Axelrod & Ploufe for good examples) - I'm sure they really dislike white people. Ridiculous. Once again it's not Obama's campaign playing the "race card." Obama has played down his race as much as possible. It's the media & his opponents who want to make it an issue.

Well when you diss on the American white people, we do not forget.

    CM

Just like any other race/party would not forget.

Your the one turning this into a race issue, you an Obama's use of language against the United States Of America.

Obama's mother was an American white person. Obama himself is half white. Most of the people working on Obama's campaign are American white people. Most of the people who are voting for Obama are American white people. Most of the people contributing money to his campaign are American white people.

I'm an American white person. At no point did Barack Obama or his campaign "diss" American white people. This is the politics of distraction & race baiting. There's absolutely no basis in reality in anything you are saying.

I think your wrong. I'm voting McCain I suggest you do as well, if you do not want the other countrys to think it is ok to mess with the United States. We can't even take down Iraq how the hell would we defend ourselves against a larger nation?

But doesn't that mean that he's possibly weak on his principles vs. public criticism?

We need a courageous President, not one that is going to bend over or wilt under scrutiny and attacks from the neocons, the mainstream media, the fascist wing of his own party...

You hear about this guy Obama. He's all about bringing the troops home, civil liberties and a bright future.

Then you see that he has been voting with the pack to enable the war, he's voted for anti-civil liberty legislation, and wants to try the New Deal 2.0 with a country 30 years away from collapsing economically due to entitlement obligations.

By putting our mind on defense.

This administration has squandered our military to the breaking point. When you venture in stupidly, like any enterprise, you end up burned.

"Uppidty [sic] Demmy" - "diss on the American white people, we do not forget"

(Think I'm getting a picture here)

Like Zibblu, I await news of your "I read it somewhere" that Obama has dissed "the American white people." Obama's campaign has made it clear he is seeking an end to racial divisiveness. His erstwhile opponent, on the other hand, has played every card in the book - between her and her husband, both have attempted to divide and conquer along racial lines, among many other things. Here's Hillary's latest:

Yes, a strategy designed to hurt Obama, and gain her, if I were to hazard a guess, a strong bargaining chip for the VP - "you can't win without me." Slime, the only pool Clinton knows, but it wasn't Obama playing this kind of card.

"Elitist." Yep, also a Clinton tactic. Problem is,

(I don't know why this didn't get more currency during the nomination season - except it isn't really Obama's thing, and once it was clear Obama could actually take this thing, the media circus salaciously went to Wright, etc. - keeps the contest "interesting.")

Now, if for both Obama's alleged "dissing white people" and "elitist" viewpoint, you are referring to his "bitter" comment, he was right - people are bitter; they are angry, and they are hurting, and if his choice of words was poor in explaining the bitterness, his heartset wasn't. A world apart from Clinton's machiavellian appraisal of "white southerners." One person's view:

    Marylee Smithwick on "Bitter" Comment

In other news, you keep returning to a theme of saber-rattling. I asked in another thread. In response to your:

I'll be sure to take the suggestion of someone that doesn't know his a... never mind ;)

We couldn't defend ourselves against anyone precisely because we have all of our troops in a stupid war in Iraq. THINK. Our military is being misused. That's not the fault of the military or the soldiers. It's the fault of the commander in chief and the administration as a whole. We cannot continue that misuse by electing John McCain in November. Obama's administration will use our military in a much more intelligent fashion. This will not only save many lives, it will also make our country much safer both in the short run and especially in the long run.
