which domain tld have more value, not for search engines, as per visitors concerns. com org or any specific contry tld.
No offense Mark but those aren't really very good tips at all. Domain name has nothing to do with ranking for keywords anymore. if you have done the right work then the domain name sdjhowhwhf20432489u-23jsdkjf.info will rank higher than mygreatdomain.com for the phrase "my great domain". It takes too much money to brand a site so just go for the shortest name you can afford. If you are going to list tips then make the list meaningful or just worthwhile at all.
Yes, but for pure resell, mygreatdomain.com is better. Also, I only go .com, and .org. I think .org has more value than .net.
To me they are bare tips, it was the principle of this industry. By the way, it seems that kind of domains are all obtained.
.Com is the only real TLD. That is why you do not see Google, yahoo or Ebay or any really big global web site with any thing other than .com. At a pinch, .net and .org could work but they are still not as good as the .com tld. (.org has devalued to a great extent over the years, since it is now no longer limited to "non-commercial" sites as it originally was.) As far as the "short" domains are concerned, it would be far better to have an easy to remember domain name even if it is a long name. For example, the word California has ten letters but would be a much much better domain name to have than any three or four letter domains, due to the easy-to-remember factor. booksearchengine.com has sixteen letters, but again, it is better than many three letter domains.
Also, pick a domain name you like. You are more like to do something with it if it has some of your personality mixed in.
Well this is partially true but if the owner of mygreatdomain.com does the same good job as you did he will have one more advantage to rank higher Also we forget spelling and typein capabilities of the domain Domains that they build their traffic only on search engine listing will not go far
