I have a technology blog that gets around 34,500 visits a month. It is PR 4 and has an Alexa rank of 214,000. Currently, it is ad-free. Right now I am considering putting a few image ads up to help pay the bills. How much per month do you think I could get for selling advertising?
Hi, IMO, that's really depends on how you monetise your site - you can go adsense, affliate links, banner links (usually 125x125 pixel size), and blogroll links. With your kind of visits, I agree to silveraden - you could get a couple of hundreds - don't focus to adsense - focus to banner links and blogroll links - people would LOVE to have their URLs listed in a PR4 blog with 30000+ visits per month. Cheers!
You could use tla (text link ads) to get lots of links inside your posts... And blogroll links offered as per month basis is a good idea and a good monthly income source
If you use wordpress.. you could add links under the "blogroll" category (blogroll definition : A collection of links used or recommended by an individual blogger.). So your readers will be more motivated to click them... as it will be recommended by you.
