"to google" has been officially registered as a verb ???

    Recently, @ faculty, my e-commerce teacher told us that "to google" has been officially registered as a verb in USA. I was pretty amazed by this...

    What do you think about this ? :rolleyes:

    Yea pretty usual word these days, i even heard some grandmas were talking about some recipe, they were unsure how it's done and one said i'll google it later. :)

    Very true. Just like Xerox and Kleenex, after a while it becomes the generic word and weakens the brand.

    I'm not surprised. I did a grammar lesson earlier this year distinguishing the difference between google and Google (ex. I went to Google to google you)
