Thanks for sharing I have taken some good notes. It is worthwhile to note that all of the leadership books say that when someone reaches success they often mentor others and 'put something back'. I guess that shows that you are growing too by giving to us.

    Thanks!

I'm confused about gravity, your saying that 21 reflects the percentage that convert.

Therefore, if it has a 75% gravity, 3/4 are converting, therefore having more success. So a higher gravity would represent a more convertible product right?

gravity is not measured in percentage and a higher gravity product just
means more affiliates have had success promting that product.
The 75% if your commission when you make a sale

sugar, your right, i was thinking it was a percentage for some reason, thanks, but he states that having a higher gravity may mean the product is tougher to convert, that was the bit i didn't get.

Thanks for the great tips and info...think I'll give it a shot. BUT...I think I'm missing something:

Where do we add our meta/keywords? I don't really understand this. Can anyone elaborate?

    Thanks!

Hi...I just read the Ezine article that you point out. How did you setup the landing page...it is brilliant, almost everyone would click through to the next page...my question is though, how did you set it up or more importantly design it? I am not very technical....do you think its possible to set up a landing page using the FREE BLOGGER type of website? Anyone have any thoughts???

If I am not mistaken the whole top part of the page is a picture and the picture links
to the hoplink. Are you asking how you use a picture as a link?

How do you link to a large picture like that and do you think it is possible to create a landing page using a Free Blogger Blog template?
If I could use the free blogger option, than it would only cost me the domain name!

Heres is the code that you have to use:

    <a href="http://www.pageresource.com"><img src="next.jpg" /></a>

thanks for helping! I don't understand though...so I upload a picture...where do I put this HTML? shouldn't I cloak it as well? I just figured out I can do it using Blogger...but where do i put the HTML to make it all clickable?

Also...for article writting like Ezine Articles, I know they won't let you put a link directly to an affiliate page...so how much content does your landing page have to have to make it ok in the eyes of an EzineArticles editor?

I'm not sure about blogger becuase I don't use it but after you upload it and find the the place where
that you can use html the "pagesource" in the code is where you what you want the link to be and "next.jpg"
is the name of the picture. If that doesn't work you'll have to put the full file path of the link like this:

And for ezinearticles if I am not mistaken they don't care how much content you have. I can put make a blank
page that says "Click Here" and I don't think ezine will care but of course that might not convert very well so
a lot of products have pre-made landing pages you can use. All of NcMedia's products has these.

I just thought of the best idea!

Simply construct a landing page that has nothing but a box in the middle, and text in the box that says “Enter Site Click Here".

They already clicked to get to your site..so they will click to get in!!!

**Thank you so much Emon - your help will not go unnoticed. Really appreciate you taking time out for this thread.

**You're getting there :) The sole purpose of a landing page is to track your ID and GET THEM OFF THAT PAGE ASAP! Further down the road you'll learn how to set the cookie on YOUR lander - and you'll learn that you can send the click right to payment, bypassing the vendor.

**Notice how, when someone does something nice for a community or for their peers, they get praise but they also get hate? I wonder who and why is rating this thread with one star not five? ;) Whoever you are - kudos for showing your true colors - now go start a newbie thread or do something nice for karma's sake - this is really petty of you, when karma gets you - think of me :)

**Here is another simple breakdown for you - we'll use 100 as the gravity example.

*It's not a percentage, it's an actual number of people (100 people). So if the gravity is 100 - it means that 100 affiliates converted that product in the last 6 weeks. **Now - it does get more complex because - the more recently the affiliate made their sale, the closer to 100 it would be = Each time an aff makes a sale - their score/point goes back to 1.0 - and as the 6 weeks goes by, that 1.0 drops to .01 - So if 100 people made a sale 5 weeks ago - this persons gravity would NOT be 100 anymore. HOWEVER if each of those 100 aff's made 1 sale yesterday - or even 5 sales yesterday - the maximum that gravity can be is still 100.

Higher gravity = more affiliates promoting it - if you are new - you would want to test and play with products that are brand new or have no competition (low gravity). Both high/low have their own perks and consequences.

**When you are in go daddy and get to the 'forwarding' step - you'll see tabs for this don't worry - it's easy/free/just do research on your product first, don't just dump 'whatever' in there - be detailed - meta is important.

**I have a bit of a headstart on you guys because I've been designing and producing for over a decade - making your own lander is an important and tough step, hence all the landers I create for YOU guys are prime and you can play with them i.e. text/meta/pics/etc.

**Thanks - If you do not have great skills yet or don't know code - GET AN HTML EDITOR (DreamWeaver/FrontPage) and GET PHOTOSHOP - start learning how to make your own graphics/buttons/etc (or outsource).

**Thank you kindly, I have written and made many ebooks/products already (first sig = all my stuff) - so at least you know this isn't the blind leading the blind...

    Thank you.
    NC.
