All high traffic niches are targeted by the webmasters and the competition is high. In my opinion you should a niche you know something about. Otherwise writing content would be a difficult task. And you're not going to rank well in the long run without good content.

Using your mind is actually a better work. Niche keywords are totally selected from daily life.

Like lawyer's keyword's. In the united states lawyers get paid over 25,000$-100,000$ per case. So think about it giving advertisement with click per rate of 10 - 20$ won't loose them. Cause if they get a client from the advertisement they would recover allot more money. I prefer medical keywords cause there are lots of different types of medical keywords. Some have more competition some have lesser. You choose which you want.

I agree with hlln, you can find niches every where. I think everyone here has done lots of searching and investigation. Once you find your niche you won't want to give it away ;) Best of luck!

Nah!, you could sell the niche if its hard to promote it :) That's what I do. But the price wouldn't be XXX$-XXXX$ it would be much more...

    Here you go:

1.) Think of a subject where people would be using adwords on. This is why celebrity and joke sites have a poor CPC, while sites dedicated to household goods or a particular service have good CPCs

2.) Think of a niche where the material isn't already saturated on the net. If you do a site that is on a too general a topic, or too popular a topic, you're probably going to have problems ranking well in search engines.

3.) Think of niches that fit both 1 and 2 above that you would like to write about.

4.) Now that you have your niche, start your site and become rich. :D

Hey buddy niche is not like product we told you and you purchased it , believe me think your self what you like the most and you will love to do that thing again and again , like todays boys and more geekier and they are running to many techno blogs , if you have interest in entertainment that it is the best but competition is too high .

yes. take your experiment. i select my niche for my preference and search for related keywords, in that way, i get to manage my site better and i know more about it rather than gawking for a niche that you aren't familiar enough.

money doesn't flow soon, it needs the proper content and linking. those are the things you need to focus on once you have chosen your niche. most of the time, there are also people that are interested on your niche of choice, its not that bad. just keep them churning up with nice ideas to maintain your site and you can go well.

This guy has a really interesting blog where he tests out different niches and reports on what his average earnings are. He tries out niches that may be overlooked by most people and gives an idea of how they do. They are not the highest paying, but they are probably not as competetive either. I've never copied any of his niches exactly but just reading his ideas gets you in the right frame of mind to think about all the different things you could do. There are also some other online business tips and stuff.
