Type in just the word: leads, into google web search. Is anyone else seeing an usual first image result? Is this a good method to get traffic? What are the negative ramifications? Think the site will be banned?
It's pretty easy ranking in images, read this: How to Optimize for Google Images The key is monetizing or making use of the traffic because it typically doesn't convert as well as regular SERP traffic. But.. you can get a ton of traffic from images.
That is a great article. I have already been practicing those steps for a long time, but I HIGHLY recommend that anyone who isnt familiar with this - Go read that article
Interesting.. the file seems to be named 10193.jpg The alt is {alt="Normal anatomy" and none of the folder names have the word lead in them. /graphics/images/en/10193.jpg" /> So how was this optimized for Google images? Well it seems the paragraph directly after the image got it to rank so high in Google images.... {
SNIP...The urethral opening, through which urine passes, leads to the bladder. The anus leads to the rectum. The vaginal opening leads to the vaginal canal, which leads to the uterus.
} So a paragraph after any image with your keyword repeated 4 times can get you ranking "number 1" from about 242,000,000 results in SERPS! for a highly competitive one word search. Go figure. Cheers James
