How to get more traffic for free ?

I'm in problem : I have several sites, with good pagerank (4-5), but very low traffic. (several thousand / month)

It seems, regardless the good SE positions, few visitors come.

Any good idea ? (ok, other than good positioned banner ads)

 

for free quality visitors, i think there is no other way than search engine

 

u should buy some link with those sites that have good visitors

I think you should focus more on the targeted visitors and look the ways to retain them.

 

Are you targeting the keywords that are being searched a lot? Or you are just targeting your site name?

 

Use opt in service provided by awber and give some free stuff
and collects opt ins. After it send them free tips daily via email
so go on increasing returning visitors to your site.

Ranking high and low traffic? What's your niche? That's pretty much impossible.

 

What's been working for you so far? If you have some high ranking, low traffic keywords, maybe you need to target more of them. Or maybe it's time to start targeting higher competition, higher traffic keywords. Whatever you are doing now to drive the traffic you are getting, chances are if you do more of it, or find a way to improve what you are doing, you will get more traffic.

I guess, start thinking how to get visitors bookmark your site and come back..take a simple example, w3schools..great site..you cannot afford to not bookmark it!

 

well i was reading last night about traffic and i end with one line ...try everything but avoid spam
