its still only a sunrise period so basically you cant yet register it, only if you have a trademark

The .me is a good idea, but the cost needs to come down.

if you look right now, you'll notice that practically every 1-word .me you type in has already been taken (or bid on)

Where do you find this type of stuff?

For all those who says its too expensive.... its expensive because its for owners of any current registered trademark. I would say at least 80% + of all members on this forum does not have registered trademark. Furthermore, I want to say that 2 days ago (May 6), the .me domains enter the General Sunrise period.

Open Registration starts on July 17 @ 15:00 UTC. I going to estimate that the price will go down BIG TIME due to the basic fundamentals of supply and demand.

I will buy some for fun if the price goes below $10, aside from that it's just another gimmick extension of limited value. no way would i sit on a pile of LLL.me paying $50 a year waiting for someone to need them more then lll.com lll.net lll.org lll.us ect...lll.me is waaay down the line and there are MANY ahead of it!

Probably not, but it is possible. Depends how the market goes and how well the .me extension does. I'm not regging any right now either, because of the price. I prefer .coms.. :) #1 and one of the cheapest. LLL.me's will probably do well, not sure how much they are worth though.

I hope it will score good than expectations with premium names and more for high-flyer web addicts.
I will try to register some of them upon the available wish list after the land rush.
Is n’t it better than other highpriced TLDs like .SC,.AG,.FM,.AM,.IM etc ?

Domain name length: .ME domain names must be at least 3 characters and a maximum 63 characters in length, excluding the extension (.me, org.me, etc.).
