thetazzbot is 100% correct (and also extremely encouraging as well), not to mention Nabs has answered just about every single unique question that's been asked of him. Extremely impressive
surf4fun, i think you are an idiot. please stop posting and ruining this thread. buying stocks is gambling in a way, but if you manage your risks correctly, you make a lot of money and no doctor will laugh at you if you trade stocks for a living. luck=it happens here and there skill=it happens a lot
Those are some big checks...I will post in this thread again when I get the same amount. Hopefully it will be in the next decade. Seriously whatever you're doing.....Keep at it.
Nabs, in addition to the affiliate products descriptions how much keyword rich text do you put on each site?
After reading all the comments, I'd like to share my opinion. 1. We reap what we sow. No pain, no gain. 2. There's no shortcut to success (in contrast to what money-making ebooks are telling us) 3. High-risk, high-return 4. Low-risk, low-return 5. No-risk, no-return 6. Money comes from passion. If you are passionate about affiliate marketing, then you will earn money as an affiliate - that is if you work hard. 7. Forget making money online if you cannot sustain your passion and if you don't have ethics, patience and humility. 8. There are two things that you can do in the Internet: build your own website and make money from it or waste your time surfing MySpace and Facebook or watching YouTube videos. 9. Surforfun has some profound, interesting points. But here's the conclusion: everything is risk whatever you do whether offline or online. Even crossing the street is a risk. 10. The Internet is a tool for business success. It shouldn't be compared with physical business. Offline business and online business should go hand in hand. If you have a bookshop in your town, then make a website that has a list of all the available books in your shop. In that way, you help the people in your town save fuel, energy and time since they would no longer drive to your shop to browse or buy books. When you become a giant bookshop, start an associate program (like Amazon) and we will join your program. To Nabs, congratulations. God bless you. You are an inspiration to many of us. To surf4fun, it's good to see things in different angles. There are things you said that you are right, but not all. Let me quote Bob Parsons, GoDaddy founder and CEO: "Never give up. Almost nothing works the first time it's attempted. Just because what you're doing does not seem to be working, doesn't mean it won't work. It just means that it might not work the way you're doing it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and you wouldn't have an opportunity."
umm, I actually never bothered for that. While writing a page I do not focus on keywords, just keep writing about the product. But I do focus on other aspects. Like Page Title, Number of Links on a page etc.
Great stuff you guys...I just found out about this thread before heading to bed, so I'll definitely give this whole thread a read tomorrow morning.
Nabs, great stuff, can you mention something about webhosts? Do you put all your sites into one reseller account or spread it out? What are the webhosts costs for that number of sites? Thanks!
Thanks for posting Nabs! A great thread to say the least and some nice advice and encouragement for a newbie like me. I do have one question: What is your take on .info domains? Regards, Richie
Great thread and congrats on your success! I am just getting into the game and have set the following goals. 1) Have 7 websites up and running by september. 2) Make $3000 per month by Jan 09. 3) Make $10000 per month by Jan 2010 4) Make $20000 + per month by Jan 2011. Do these seem like reasonable milestones to aim for?
Yeah I am aiming high but I believe its possible if I put my mind to it and put in the work. I mean for $3000 a month all I need is to successfully refer 1-3 people per day to certain programs. Easier said than done im sure but I will never know unless I try. I hate regular 9-5s and love jobs with unlimited earning potential like internet marketing.
