Hi i have a little dilemma.

I am selling digitall goods via this forum and have a problem because there are a lot of people who post "Sold" in my thread, then i send payment info and i can;t hear anything from buer. I think this is way to get better post cou.

Should i give a negative itrader in situation where someone post "Sold" and don't buy the item and doesn't message me that he resigned ?

I think we msut start to fight with this situation , we waste a lot time on messageing people who only need to make their post count higher ...

No - people can change their mind anytime they want until money change hands (and sometimes even after)

    No, of course not.
Until goods have traded hands, it's not a sale or anything to do with their trading rep.

    Just my two cents.

Yep i have to agree also, there are times when minds are changed and you cant give negative iTrader for that. Although from a respectful point of view a message should be left in the thread retracting the bid/offer.

    Bob,

That's how the ball rolls in this court. Pick your bottom lip of the floor and deal with it.

maybe just because you get a sold or a pm, dont take it for gospel,

poeple are distracted sometimes, and they are allowed to think about there budget after diving in

Like i want that, when realy, its gonna collect dust on the hard drive,

itrade is for paymented deals not to winge

Well if you waste a lot of time messaging people you would be wasting more giving them negetive itraders :)

Just look at it as a free bumb that someone else will get penalised for, good times.

This is why people are afraid of giving here negative itraders.

I understand that peopel can change mind, but i think they should left you message about decision... So maybe even if not negative itradr but negative rep should be given .

I see a lot o f people who not once post "sold " in my threads and never buys ...

Personally I think you should give negative itrader
If he has Post 'SOLD' then I think its his duty and a business obligation to pay you.

I fully agree. If they are a deadbeat buyer that have post "sold" then they have made the purchase. After PMing them about 2 times over 3 days & they don't bother responding & you can see from their profile that they have logged in & posted on DP, those deadbeats deserve a negative iTrader.

Personally, I don't get all the above people that say that it's not warranted.

Isn't a deal made when someone agrees in writing that it's "sold"?

So, I put in writing saying I'm gonna buy a car. I don't buy it, just walk away. No deal has been made then.

I agree with the rest of the people here, if there's no trade, there should be no rating.

To avoid this problem you could probably link to a payment button (if you're using PayPal or similar), but then it doesn't guarantee you an iTrader exchange.
