Unable to increase CTR

I am trying hard to increase CTR for adsense but no fruits yet. The CTR for my blog's adsense is very terrific, just from 2% to 3%. I have read people getting 10% and above CTR but nothing like this for my blog. My niche(Games and Software) is very high traffic and CPC is also good but it is suffering from low click thru rate. Can anyone help me sort out the problem please?

Blogs tend to have repeat visitors who become "ad-blind" after the first couple of visits. Your ads also need to be placed inside your posts, not on the side or top of your pages where they can easily be overlooked.

    3% CTR is really good.

Anyway, try to optimize your ads placements. Try different ad units. Use the 336*280 or 250*250 ad units.

    Well,
3% CTR is way too good. But you can always try to improve.

Write the post in "Edit Html" mode, not in "Compose".

Just insert the ad codes wherever you want the ad to appear in the post.

2-3% CTR is not that bad actually. Especially on a high traffic sites.
For 10%+ CTR - MFA sites, crappy content ;)

10% CTR means click ring and admin uses proxies to click his own ad..

Well you can't put javascript codes in the posts. Blogger doesn't allow this.

A link to your site might generate more useful tips and comments : ))

bur generally, your niche is in a low ctr grp - and from what I've read from others, 2% - 3% is quite a decent CTR already. Maybe you can look into getting more page views etc, rather than to increase the CTR.
