Yep - I've won 2 lotteries today and have been asked by 3 people from 3 different countries to help with funds they can't get ahold of - I'm a multimillionaire - Anyone need a loan?
If you lure them on and seem like you are interested, then you will be annoyed with more spam and stupid things
Yep, thats the worst thing you can do, once you have replied that have verified your email address... so sit back... relax... and watch your inbox fill up faster than you can empty it!
These aren't new, I receive them every single day, a day if I do not receive them, I need to check if there is any problem with my email server
It is the same old story everywhere. Strange that you got the lucky (?) mail only now. When I first received such a spam mail, I was a little bit excited but it has become as usual nowadays
I think the general rule here, is that if you have applied or entered into something , then yes, emails like that are possible but very unlikely. However, if you have not entered, participated or contacted in anyway, or did not expect and email from them, its a scam.
We all laugh at these but SOMEONE apparently doesn't. The only reason these things would keep going is that they work. Someone falls for it. When you're dealing with millions of emails you're bound to find someone who hasn't seen one befoe who's gulible enough to give it a try.
I read in the papers, there are those that lose thousands to hundreds of thousands, but frankly I think they deserve it. Most of such scam deals are money laundering deals, to participate makes you as much a scammer as them.
