Ok, I thought I had this nut cracked but it has dried up. I have had zero sales from CB in more than a week. Checked my site, same traffic as usual. Bummer. http://www.johnnyforex.com Mark
That happens some times. Don't worry, sales will pick up again if you keep the same traffic. Meanwhile, check your links. They may have a problem you're not aware of. nadavs
Yeah, I was just checking my links. They still work, but i notice that people are just bailing on the sales page. On my site, I write "mini" sale pages, or product descriptions, for my products. People *are* clicking the buy now button, so they are definately interested in buying, but they are bailing out on the sale page (my buy now button redirects to the hoplink). I think I will send them straight to the buylink instead. See if I can catch more flies that way. These authors who make these sales pages that are ultra annoying, makes you wonder if they make any money at all. Cheers, Mark
I like the interesting buy it now strategy, I've not tried that out myself but wondering though, if someone clicks a buy it now button only to find it was just a re-direct wouldn't that cool the guy off to buying? Just wondering how you have found the technique? Other then that the site looks good, although I can't comment on the niche I haven't tried that one Troy
Same here... Been checking and re-checking my links but nothing wrong there. Been getting 80-120 hops a day but conversions are stuck since the 1st... Blame recession but that's barely the solution.
You've got a cookie issue.. some of your direct to order page links are showing up with no aff code, and with the wrong product specified. Might want to check into it
That's exactly the feeling I had. And i switched all my products to jump to the clickbank order page when you click buy it now. I am so pissed at myself. I sunk my own boat and didnt even know it. I tried to setup link cloaking to hide my affiliate links (dont know why) and some how it didnt work. So I had MANY people clicking buy it now, but going to the wrong darn product. So I lost untold sales as a result. Like someone else said, check your links, you never know when you do something dumb that has un-known results somewhere else.
