suddenly i noticed that the server load is 73.68 and the red is flashing in my cpanel server with hostgator. its US time in the morning. i am worried that hostgator might suspend my account? how do i know that the server load is because of my site.

should i worry? i host about 10 sites and i get about 20-30k uniques for all sites combined.

If you are on a dedicated server you have nothing to worry about.

If your on shared, submitt a support ticket and a screenshot and ask them what the problem is.

I don't know personally anything over 2.0 is kinda bad.

I have 22 proxies running using ALOT more daily BW than that with alot more users and it's 0.2 something is wrong here.

How many databases are you using? Is there a mysql database on the high traffic site?

In that case, it should not be your account. I would check with HG to find out the reason, and ask if they can prevent it. Another option is asking for moving to a new server, if you still want to stay with HG
