Has anyone noticed that if you ad a youtube video to your blog or site and then a user click on the video it will take them to youtube?

Well, on myspace they disabled this. You can click on youtube videos in members profiles that it doesn't link to youtube.

    How'd they do it?

Probably via a partnership with Youtube.

Where does it link to on MySpace? I don't think the YouTube code is accessible to anyone.

You could put the YT videos in your own player, but they are hosting your vids for free so let them link imo

It is if we're talking of the code to get the videos in order to be posted to your blog.

Yeah I mean by accessible you can't do much with it. You might be able to change the size of the video but that's about it. They don't give you the video code, just the embed code.

You can put the Youtube Videos in your own flv player or one that is readily available so that they don't link to Youtube when the player is clicked, however I don't think Youtube are too happy with people doing this.

It may be possible to do it through the use of Youtube API whereby they share their code for you to use to inergrate YT on your website to your needs. This option is probably more legal than the first one I posted!!
