It got popular when I joined here, everyone loves me. In all reality Digitalpoint offered webmasters a lot of tools which attracted them to the site, and the forum grew.
I think this forum has something that addict me. But I dont know what is it. And I know I'm not the one who feel that way. Great forums, it is.

you can make your own skin to view it in if u care that much..sometimes simple is better...in this case it is! people are looking for info and help not looks!
i love DP a wealth of information, its almost like an interactive wiki. I hope it stays around for a long time.
Whenever I have any quesitons or need any help with anything I've been working on I have been able to find someone on dp with the knowledge and willingness to help (sometimes for a small fee)
When I started online business I found this forum on Google searching for webmaster forums. I also found V7n during the same time. I didn't know anything of marketing online business, SEO. I started asking questions on this two forums. All the folks helped (with some exceptions). I still come back on these two forums. Guess this is what made these forums successful: get help and help others.
it's a bit combo of Luck and getting in first. Now 1000 sites like this can come out but people will go where others are to learn and chat
Luck plays important role but we know only luck cant promote our forums , only moderators know what they have done and how much they have spent in promotions . But i like this forum very much . I have learned many things here and people over here are quite friendly and always stay ahead to help others . may be this reason makes me here come again and again .
What makes DP standout from competition is that it have great articles, revenue sharing foums and great management staff. DP members tell there friends. Word of mouth and lost of DP posts rank high in SERPS
