I use BancPost and BRD - both are just fine. Back then when payments where issued by check, Banca Tiriac was the best option as it had the lowest commissions.
Thank you for answer. One more question, if anybody can help. Are the WU payments tracked by any authority? As long as I know, there was such issue to worry when receiving checks...
For one, I don't know the answer. Still, to avoid any possible future problem, I declare properly the entire amount received and pay the 16% tax for it.

Eu declar banii ca persoana fizica - la alte venituri realizate in strainatate prin activitati independente. Pierd sume destul de mari, dar dorm linistit noaptea. In ceea ce priveste pana acum (de 2 ani) nu m-au intrebat nimic suplimentar - pur si simplu pe baza printout-ului de pe din contul meu de Google pentru anul anterior. W3b: felicitari pentru realizari!... Daca ai ajuns la sume asa de mari - you're a big player!
siraxi: Hai ca nu pierzi chiar asa de mult. 16% mi se pare o suma decenta pt un somn linistit. Iar daca aveai firma plateai 16+19 si aveai o groaza de bataie de cap. True, but it was getting a bit weird to use English for discussions of interest only to Romanian nationals, as this WU payment issue affected only Romanian publishers.
