i dropped from 7 to 17 after i linked from blogs to my site

hey guys,

i linked to my site, with similar keyword (let us assume my keyword is "honeymoon videos") from 7 blogs i own.
the blogs are all pr-3

after the linknig by 2 days, i checked in SEO elite and i was number 7
now today i checked (around one week after linking) and i am number 17


but all the linking happend during 2 days...maybe that was my mistake? all of a suddent links appeared to this site and google got sceptic?

 

dont worry. just add new contents in your site and wait.make your site live.

 

There are times after you build a good amount of links that your site will drop periodically. It's natural, be patient and you should see it rise back up.

 

Artificial link building is easily detected.

All the blogs on the same server?

If you link to your own sites from sites on the same server it will be devalued.

 

Does that mean that I we own 10 BlogSPot blogs, we can not link to a site form them.

 

Try to update your site, maybe it's only a part google updates.

 

yeah the blogs on the same IP....my site (the one anchor text is linking to) is alive and popular.
i will wait a week or 2, and see what google does.
by the way, today it is place 14 on google, not 17...so i hope it keeps risin

 

try to change the layout and keyword

 

Try to add Few more quality content and backlinks so your site will be come in right direction soonest.

maybe the drop in rankings was not related to your links/keywords, but was rather due to a search engine update. If so your site should get it's rankings back in week or two.
