Well I gave it a try yesterday. I spent 20 minutes and posted 20 answers (daily maximum for new users) and then I went to bed. When I woke up I found it had sent me 100 unique users! Not bad for 20 minutes work. It also generated me about 6 google ad clicks. As my daily maximum gets higher and higher I'll be able to drive much more traffic to my website with it. What's your experience with Yahoo Answers?
i am on it, but have only put links to my site in about 10 answers. and though out a period of about 3 months it has given me about 100 clicks traffic is long term though yahoo answers. so if you got 100 clicks in 12 hours you will get around 500 clicks in a duration of 3 months
I have tried Yahoo answers and I haven't been to sucessful. Maybe I was doing something wrong. Thanks for the encouragement I may give it another shot!
sounds like a channel worth exploring. just make sure you answer targeted keyword questions... right?
How can you use Yahoo Answers? I'm confused about how to get people to click my link when they can only see my profile.
You won't you know. If you keep giving your link in loads of answers, you'll get flagged as spam and your account deleted. Do it little and often, and mix in some answers that you don't put your link in - put a link to other sites when it's a valid answer to the question. Just think how annoying it is when other people spam your favourite sites, and don't do that.
Isn't there any penalize from yahoo or google spreading your website in such cases? will try for someone else before doing in my own..LOL
It may be a back link but it is "no follow". If you want do follow back link then you have to add your link with answer but not in source box. As you keep on adding your link in answer box it will be flagged as spam and your account get deleted. Many times your competitors itself will see that your account is get deleted.
One good way I've used it is to select a blog post of mine that has discussed a specific topic, then I search on Yahoo Answers for questions on that same topic. I will then answer the question and also list four or five sites or blogs that have more info relating to the question, making sure one of the links is to my blog post. This way, you can't be accused of spamming as your link is relevant and not the only one you provided.
