Does anyone know of a good Directory???

I have couple of the websites that I want to promote. One is regarding Real Estate and the other one is about credit cards. Does anyone know of a good directory where I don't have to spend a lot of time to go into each directory to submit my info to get more business. Any help would be appriciated.

Here's mine. Both offer deep link options with affordable review fees:

    Credit Card Directory
    Real Estate Directory

In most cases you will get better results submitting to directories yourself. Check out the free directory list in my signature. It may be helpful.

Directory listings normally do not bring much traffic, if any. The title of your links (anchor text) will help improve your rankings at the search engines, and that is the largest benefit of directory listings. Even Yahoo's directory sends me no traffic at all.

Match your directory titles with keywords you are trying to rank for. Here's a free Windows keyword research tool. Plug in your main keyword and it will produce the top 100 keywords associated with your main one. It will also provide daily search stats so that you know you are targeting keywords that are actually searched for. If your site is new, it will be easier to rank for "long tailed keywords." Trying to rank for a highly competitive keyword normally takes about a year of hard work.

    Happy link building! :)

Guys atleast take a chill pill before pasting tons of links of your directory!

Let the guy breath and say whether he needs a paid or free directory. Looks like he needs a free dirs submission as he asked for above.

Directory section member just need an opportunity to paste their directory links there days. (I am also included in that list though..lol :p)

    ----

@ OP: Try services section for directory submission service. :)

If you are looking to get a boost in traffic with submission to one/two directories yahoo or business.com might be good for you. Otherwise you have to hire someone to submit your websites to directories manually.

Don't use submission services, as it's well known all they'll do is post you're url to 1000 useless FFA sites and classifieds.

And you'll get a ton of affiliate spam in return. :)

Go for Yahoo (if you want to pay the $200 fee). You could always do PPC, but it's not cheap if you want good results.

Don't bother submitting to the hoards of low PR directories, the backlinks you'll gain aren't worth the time spent submitting, and you'll find this out 6 months down the line like I did many years ago.

The problem is sites are cutting back on link swaps, deleting their link pages and good resource sites are charging fees for inclusion. Not much choice left I'm afraid.

    It's Pay or Die :D
