I use to recommend Parking Panel before but now, I say they suck big time! Their support is non-existant, an absolute joke & don't be suprised if you suddenly find you can't log into your account & find out that they've banned you for no reason.
Oh :| thank you very much htmlindex... I was just thinking about using parking panel. I have aded you some rep I would like to hear some more user experience. By the way you mentioned ban. I would like to ask do all the parking providers just ban their users without paying them out, or there are some, which actually pays out to user their "legitimate" earnings before the ban.
Didn't get paid out for the very last month with them. I had a few months of payments, then one day couldn't log into ParkingPanel. When I tried to log in it said something like "Your account is pending review, please try again later" or something like that. So I kept trying every few days for about 2 weeks. Then I tried to contact them via their email address in their support. No answer. Then sent them a message via their contact form. Email bounced back saying incorrect email address. Then some other members on DP/Namepros gave me the direct contact details to some account managers. Sent an email then later got a reply that the account had been suspended due to "fraud" & if I didn't feel that it is right, to contact them. Told them that there is no way there was any fraud involved & they told asked me where my traffic came from. Told them that they should know as they have all the stats & the traffic would most likely be from type-in traffic & a little from existing links. Since then, about 4 months ago or so, still awaiting a response & my account to be re-instated! Now I think they are just an absolute joke. Using Parked.com now for my domains.
Well i like the parked.com payout structure have you tried them with adult names? Could you drop ma a pm or post here the example of the landing pages they have?
I send the registration to parking panel, never got reply back so I kinda gave up on them. I have adult domain names parked on parked.com and doing good there. avg $30 per day clicks for month and 10 days. (from one domain while others doing $1 or so. name drive was doing ok, but I haven't checked there for a while so I have to see how that is going.
Okay, I don't even get a few cents a day for my adult domains on sedo so maybe Ill check out parked.com I heard Fabulous is good for adult parking but when I spoke with them a while ago I don't think I had enough domains or not the right niches or something.
Yep, tried them with all my names. I find that they don't pay very well for adult names though. Parking Panel paid better so am open to looking at any other companies that do pay better than Parked for adult. Sending you a PM in regards to an adult name with Parked so you can check out.
Thanks by the way have you ever heard of such kind of (i dont know how to call it) lets say "mixing nameservers" when you set your nameservers to some different parking companies and check which one parking company gives you the most money. Different people see different sites on the domain. Example: domain.com nameservers: ns1.parkcompany1.com ns2.parkcompany2.com ns1.parkcompany3.com ns2.parkcompany4.com etc... If i remember right you can set more than two nameservers on godaddy.
PP banned you, html? Weird! For customer support I just started calling them instead of sending e-mails. I'd love to break away from them, but I just can't. Some of my domains just perform way better @ PP than anywhere else. EDIT: Just talked to them. They've been upgrading their stats reporting system and doing some other things which is why customer service is taking a little longer than normal. I would seriously try to get in if you take domaining seriously in order to test them out and make sure you make the most amount of money possible with your domains! Just my suggestion.
Here's a question for you. Would I make more from parking one of my domains that gets mostly direct traffic? Right now I literally make about .05-1.30/day from it through Adsense. Monthly stats: 6,382 Visits 34,212 Pageviews
Parked.com denied me, saying i didn't have enough traffic for my domains. They're to be parked, do they want me to develope the site then park them? Can anyone recommend any other parking sites?
I had the same problem with them too and had my acct suspended at NameDrive. I will have to test the waters with Parked.com (again)- thanks for the lead. -J
NameDrive don't pay well , recently I started to develop 3-5 pages sites that generate more money then any parking
ND suspended me - idiots (57-60% CTR must have scared them). Oh well, I have another tactic to try to monetize my traffic. How well are your non-parked sites doing?
I'm not really into domain parking. My domains get about 1 direct visit per month, I just use those services as an alternative to the default godaddy page. I just thought that Namedrive was kind of cool, because you get the chance to customize the landing page to a small degree, unlike the other services I've used, which automatically choose an image and links based on the domain name itself.
