Yes,almost all bollywood movies has 4-6 songs,people love these songs in all movies,infact if the movie has good songs then it is declared as hit or sometimes superhit lol.

maybe the reason is There are more Music lovers in India than Movie Lovers or the movies without songs turnout to be a flop Example : Darna Mana Hai, Darna Zaroori Hai etc.. etc..
Probably low viewers in the fast changing times. They have to make it a bit commercial. E.g Pranali movie released last week which touches upon a sensitive subject.
Hmmm.. Not really, dilcr. It's not only in India. I watched many musical movies from other different countries anyway. The difference with Indian movies is that almost all Indian movies are musical movie. And that's interested me to find out why.
