Web hosting affiliate @ CJ ?

Hi guys,

I am new on dp as well on cj, I am planing to apply some web hosting merchants.Can any one guide me what kind of conversions do i expect and which web hosting merchant is your favorite.

Also if you can share some tips which can helpful your most welcome.

I would expect you to have ZERO conversions.



CJ provides all the tools to see which programs generate the most income. That doesn't necessarily mean the top one is best.

How well you do is entirely up to you.

Take the time to read the help files a CJ and read the TOS of the advertiser before you participate.

 

Be weary of hosting merchants on CJ. A lot a scrubbing and a lot do reversals that are NOT valid reversals.

I'd wait before dipping your toe in that niche.

 

Could you elaborate? I am currently trying to promote hosts (among other things). Do they not pay out???

What is "scrubbing"?

 

Its because a lot of fake orders come in @ web hosting business and this is the reason you can expect reversals.

I think people don't want to share real thoughts on this issue, there are tons of affiliate here but no one in mood to share some Knowledge.
I am not asking any business secret just a new bee question.

Not only do webhosting companies scrub commissions, but the amount of affiliates competing with you in this niche is incredible. Just go and check the adwords prices lol. There are however a couple of advertisers that i know pay their affiliates and for me i've been paid by:

Hostgator
Hostmonster
IX webhosting

The rest either aren't converting for me or are reversing the sales, whatever it doesn't bother me too much as it isn't my main income source.

 

Be careful. Some webhosts are big cheaters. I have a list of dishonest webhosts. Just PM me if you want to save yourself from being victims of unethical webhosts.

 

out of curiousity what is a CPC for a keyword "web hosting" ?

It is a very hard niche with so many sites competeing with you. I would try some of the other well know sites like listed above with thier program instead of cj
