This user has a thread on DP promising to give you a link where he's making free money. He then sends you the link below and it opens up a htm file that installs / infects some kind of trojan / virii onto your pc and I'm still here trying to block it / investigate what it is. Thus far it's taken over a few things and I'm working on regaining control of my pc.. Mods? It installs something called C:\thqD.exe which attaches to svchost.exe and tries to connect to the inet.
First of all never click any link provided throgh PM or email if you don't know that person. Forward that PM to any mod here through this link. Don't forget to remove that suspecious link from that PM or else mod also infected with that virus or trojan DON.
svchost.exe is just the loader what ever thqD.exe is doing is using svchost.exe to load a part of thqD.exe =) svchost.exe is a windows file. do you have thqD.exe on the desktop?
No he definately infected me ExDeus.. at least 5 new .exe are trying to connect to the internet.. really odd ones.. I've been firewall blocking as I've been removing.
No just the person who gave me a random unfair infraction offended me. The majority of the mods here are great. I could name a few but don't want to shortlist anyone. I apologize for calling "All Mods" Forum Nazis. I didn't mean it that way. Only that my infraction was unfair .. which by the way is still standing. I value my DP account. In fact since 99% of my income comes from here which is currently paying for my disease treatments for hemochromatosis. If I were to get banned the situation would be Fatal. If I had a fair infraction coming I could accept that but the one I recieved was for no apparant reason. I did nothing wrong in the thread according to the rules that I received it in. For the record he sent the link to around 30 dp members before me.
I've not tried to pass through one recently LOL. Although I doubt it. Will have to test that theory! Since I'm pretty sure I did nothing to warrant the infraction could we chalk it up as human error or misinterpretation ?
this is pathetic... i am sure Xamal have nothing better to do other then spreading his dirty stuff to infect peoples... seriously he need to leave his computer and find himself a girlfriend who will keep him busy and then he will stop infecting peoples....
