Should I Optimize My Blogs

    Should I be putting on as much effort in SEO and link building for my support blogs to my ecommerce site?

    Sure, they will become more powerful in Google that way. You might consider outsourcing that part and focus on your ecommerce site if you don't have enough time for everything.

    Maybe this will shed some light on the subject. I was reviewing the rank of a site on Alexa today. It was in the top 50,000.

    It has a total of 11 incoming links reported.

    All from sites that are also in the top 100,000

    Use the automated SEO tools that are available as Blog Plug ins.
    As you create your site be sure to use Descriptive Titles and Headings

    The forget about then Onsite SEO stuff and go generate your traffic. The reality is (at least for ranking purposes) you need LINKS and LINKS from the best sites available. It's very basic knowledge now... but some people are still looking for that one "Trick" or "Tip"... and it simply isn't there.

    If you do promotion for your blog also, it will help to increase your site traffic. because many visitors search only information that as usual available on blogs as current trend is going.

    Do all the efforts of SEO. Yes link building is very beneficial. Collect theme based links. Update your blog regularly. I suggest do not use any automated software to submit your blog in directory. Submit your website manually.

    SEO never hurts, unless you're trying to hide your site from the rest of the internet... and i doubt that is your goal... :)

    Blog just need to be updated frequently with quality content automatically it will get good rankings.

    why not? if you want your site to gain more traffic..
    do some SEO stuffs.. get links from other related sites..
    but of course, alway update your blog! Quality and Unique Content i suggest!
    because Content is still the King!

    Well, you should prioritized on your ecommerce site first then your blog would only be your back up for improving your rankings and traffic.
