    Hi,
I plan to do a page, index page with around 100 outbound links.

Should I keep follow or nofollow? follow will hurt the page?

It is safer to use nofollow. 100 links are little too much and if they are not of same category and high quality, you have a very good chance of being penalised.

100 sounds like a lot of outbound links, use nofollow if you can.

I've been thinking about the number of links (both internal and external) on pages you'd like to get a link on...

E.g., if you run a publicity campaign and want to get mentioned (and linked to) on a page, what's more valuable: a PR3 page with 10-12 links... or a PR4 page with, e.g., a 100+ links.

I think the answer to this question is probably obvious... so I won't go into that here. But I mention topic because I've been counting the numbers of links on really popular pages located at high-trust sites. Man, oh man, do these pages have a ton of links. Often way over a hundred...

Now, to corroborate what earlier poster said, in same cases, maybe most cases, the html uses nofollow. But I'm not sure that's always the case...

    More confusion.

Well, it's kinda of Index page, will be major known places links only.
And users will add their own links which I don't know if to put follow or not in their personal pages ..

I would use nofollow. You should not put your site at risk.

Yes, I think I'll just use nofollow on main page.

Tho, on users page, maybe it won't hurt if they put their own links and allow them dofollow??
