My Mom has just heard this on the news. The lebanese government found their spy cameras all over the airport and as soon as they reported this hezbolla has threatened to unleash hell on earth if anyone messed with their spy camera security system. What i dont know is if hezbollas militia or hezbolla supporters have taken the airport over. Now also hearing there are sporatic gun fights but not sure what sects are fighting. Getting close to a civil war again

Armed civilians were visible on some streets. Lebanese military forces raced between neighborhoods in armored personal carriers trying to contain the fighting and shooting in the air to disperse the crowds. “This is the first day of the civil war,†said a government supporter who gave his name as Omar in the Sunni neighborhood of Tariq al-Jadideh. “They are the aggressors and they will be buried here.†A few miles away, supporters of Hezbollah were vowing to continue protesting until they bring down the government of Mr. Siniora. “We are staying here,†said a protestor who gave his name as Abu Rish. “We have money and support from Iran and Syria and we can go on like this for another 50 years.†Flights to and from Beirut airport were either canceled or delayed as airport workers joined the strike for six hours. As Hezbollah supporters reinforced roadblocks along roads leading to the airport, flights had still not resumed by late Wednesday. The clashes came a day after the government accused Hezbollah of violating Lebanon’s sovereignty by operating its own private telephone network in south Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut without permission from the authorities and of placing several spy cameras on a road outside the airport. source

Really? So why did the Lebanese army do nothing when Israel bombed Beiruit in 2006? Why does it do nothing when they continuously violate Lebanese airspace? They are pro Syria because they are vital in the defence against the bullying Israeli forces. It was taken over by the syrian army . many towns were taken over , women were raped , houses were stolen, furniture was stolen and taken back to syria(the motherland), many crimes were commited by teh syrian army against the lebanese. The lebanese army has always been a non factor here. We both know this. I dont support isreal inside lebanon and i dont support syria inside lebanon. Hezbolla had the power to kick syria out itself as it demonstrated against isreal, but they chose instead to throw them a rally and build statues of the assads at their checkpoints .
