I am planning on selling one of my websites. Why? because I don't have the time needed for it. Here is my question: How do I go about to sell it? What should I think about? What should I try to avoid? Anyone got any ideas or tips? Thanks!
see at BST section , many ppl buy and selling website.you can see how they selling his website.hope this can help.
u can sell at webmaster forums marketplace like dp and sitepoint.com many ppl purchase according to 3 months revenue. other services design , seo , backlinks pr has important but i don't have idea how to calculate that value.
Just find the right buyer here at dp in the sites part of buy, sell and trade. Its as good as anywhere.
you first have to have an idea how much your website is worth. you have to do research on what our site's value.the higher the people who visit your site the higher the price. after that you can put it into market, you can have direct marketing or mass marketing. if you have a buyer make a deal then you can transfer the name then you can get your money.
Search with Google, about selling your website and you would probably get hundred of suggestions for selling a website, due to your site prominence.
Sedo, BST sections of webmaster forums, Domainname is not as important as the rest of the factors unless it's already branded or short.
At least if you sell it here you can find buyers with a track record and they can check our yours as well.
First thing you will hear after putting your website for sale is requests for traffic and/or revenue statistics. Many potential buyers rule their criteria on your site's performance beyond content.
Thanks for all the help. I am a bit more enlightened now. I haven't even told you guys what site I am talking about!
you can sell it here http://www.google.com.my/aclk?sa=l&...p://www.websitebroker.com/sell-your-site.html
What your site is about.. I might be interested in purchasing it & how old is it. What price are you looking for it. You can send me a PM with the details. Basically I am looking for finance related site, you haven't mentioned what your site is about.
